Happy Military Spouse Appreciation Day

I absolutely LOVE the following poem. Dirt Diver gave it to me on a plaque for our anniversary and whenever I feel like I can't do this life, the roller coasters, the heartache, the unknowing I read it. I thank the Lord for giving me all the strengths AND weaknesses I have because in the end they are what help me keep going for our family.

To my fellow wives…

We started on this journey at different periods in our lives. We come from different ways of life. Our paths will take us all over the country and if we‘re lucky even the world. Sometimes we will be blessed to cross each others' path more then once. We all struggle with our own issues and have to take on both roles of parenting at times in our spouse’s career’s. But we all share a common bond that holds us together by the love we have for our spouse. We didn’t wake up one day and say “I think I’ll be a Military Spouse today”, but we embraced it full heatedly.

And with that; to all of you, Happy Military Spouse Appreciation Day!
